About Dr. Sharon

I have always loved music.  As a child, our house was always filled with music.  Either our parents were singing, or a family member was playing an instrument.  From a very early age I was exposed to singing in public…in church and in school, and I loved the feeling every time!  I loved seeing the smiles on faces in the audience.  And somehow, I knew that I wanted to be involved with some aspect of music when I grew up.

I was given the opportunity to learn music professionally as a teen and wanted to make money from my music since then.  So, to help my mom pay for music lessons, while still in high school, I started giving music lessons my classmates, who graciously paid me to teach them what I was learning every week.  My fate was sealed, and I knew that I wanted to make music when I grew up.

Because of my ability to read and play music, doors opened for me that I she never expected to.  Besides, I was shown a level of respect, and maybe that was the best part.

So, if you have dreamed of making music, maybe just for yourself or for others, Dr. Sharon is ready to help you.  My program will help boost your confidence, show you how to make music and get paid from it...and the BEST part...you can learn to read and play from your very first class.

So, take the step...this is your time!

Hear What Others Are Saying:

Sicily L., Age 50+

The Music is Fun for Me program has brought me a long, long, way into fulfilling a dream that I have. I always wanted to play the piano. Dr. Sharon was instrumental in helping me to fulfill that dream.

Learning about music in a group setting and
sharing with others is therapeutic for me. The
program also helps us to connect music to real
life experiences by exposing us to various music genres…it’s fun, fun, fun.

Shirley P., Age 50+

The program is fun. It’s great working with my
classmates as we motivate each other to
want to practice to showcase what we did
before meeting for class, because you do not
want to be shamed by how good the others
are doing.

Dr. Sharon ensures that we apply professional concepts and when you want you do your own thing, you are reminded that the concepts are for your own good.

Thecla W., Age 40+

Music is fun. Period. The Music is Fun for Me
program afforded me the opportunity to learn
music theory and apply it for me to play the piano.

I had no experience, knew nothing about music before joining this program. I was very intimidated in the beginning, thinking I wouldn’t do well.

Dr. Sharon is great, doesn’t make you feel
inadequate and is always encouraging.
